Alderson: Tejada An Option At Second Base

So I guess the assumption that Eric Young would take over second base has been wrong. That added bit of flexibility does work in EY's favor, however, as if he's being used as a fourth outfielder and a second baseman, he could potentially do quite a bit of floating around the field. He would spell each outfielder individually, then Tejada on his days off and a possible double move if the shortstop misses time: Tejada back to short, Young to second.

The long and short of it seems to be that Tejada is likely to remain a starter with the team, and Eric Young is almost assured of substantial playing time.
