We have discussed this surgery and whether he should have it before here at Effing Mets. I, for one, think this is a good idea, an unselfish play on the part of Matt Harvey, and provides the organization with some much needed clarity going into an important offseason. I hope the Mets organization rewards Matt for his consideration when they get around to buying out his arbitration years.
