He also has a horrid hole in his swing. I'm also inclined to believe that Tejada is not the .200 hitter we saw early last year and likely closer to the .280 guy we saw the years prior.

That said I don't mean to shield Hudgen's from any criticism. The team's inability to get a damn bunt down is reason enough to criticize him for me.RobPatterson83https://www.blogger.com/profile/14094456235496710175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1300706206629859407.post-54098917410834530002014-01-03T10:05:14.409-05:002014-01-03T10:05:14.409-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.RobPatterson83https://www.blogger.com/profile/14094456235496710175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1300706206629859407.post-1916096920172639922014-01-03T09:38:08.945-05:002014-01-03T09:38:08.945-05:00I'm not opposed to the mets organizational app...I'm not opposed to the mets organizational approach to hitting but I wonder how effective Dave Hudgens is as a hitting coach. None of the young Mets seem to improve as hitters. Davis, Duda, Tejada, all seem to be regressing. Seems that they are overrated or not being coached up very well.
